Running Errands

Charlie packaged up Papa's headset and took it to the post office this afternoon and then took my car to get it's oil changed. Isn't she the greatest cat ever? She even saved the tracking number.  Using Zack's man-candy calendar (a white elephant gift) she also told me that it should arrive on Friday, but her paw also could've been at Saturday since she went to the post office later in the afternoon.  She apologized for the amount of tape- it's hard to use when you are covered in hair.

Gramma wanted to send me a reward. And my first thought was: TREATS?  TREATS SHIPPED TO ME? I love treats and boxes, but not together. Mama keeps hiding treats in different places so I get "exercise." Bleck. I haven't found the last set of treats that are on top of the fridge and those should last me several months of this new "let's not gain a lot of weight because I'm a spoiled cat" diet.

Zack promptly hid the man candy calendar in the black can thing next to the porch kitties' food, but what it looked like was a calendar with a new hunk each month. Do you think there's a cat version?

(Oh lordy. Please no.)

Charlie, how are you surviving the cold?

I've been staying very warm by sleeping in the very middle of the bed and refusing to move after I find a good artery or nerve to sleep on. I also get my blood pumping by seeing ghosts in the wee hours of the morning and running around the house protecting everyone. Please, no parade, it's just a day in my very humble non-spoiled life.

What did you do when it snowed?

Self preservation is the name of the game. I hid in the towels.

Hugs and headbutts,
Charlie and her dutiful scribe Whitney
